1850 - Surry Co., NC - The Surry County 1850 census shows many errors made by the actual census taker. It appears that he left out one line, which puts all the ages wrong. These errors were made in the Rockford District and affect the Stanleys that lived in that district. John does show in the Rockford District in household #1199 as John Stanley age 37(should be age 75) born NC with his daughter Susan age 35(should be age 25) born NC. John is a farmer with $100. property value. 544
