Research: Jasper married Nancy Kimberland and had 4 children. He then left for Kentucky in search of work. He met Mary "Polly" Fraley in Greenup County, Kentucky who apparently had money and he had 3 children by Mary. He then returned to Lee Co., Va. for a few years and had more children by his wife Nancy. He told Nancy he was going to join the military and fight in the Civil War. He returned to Greenup County, Kentucky and married Mary "Polly" Fraley in 1862. He did not return to Lee Co.,Virginia again. 678

ca 1844 when Jasper was 25, he first married Nancy KIMBERLAND, daughter of Catherine KIMBERLAND (ca 1801-), in Lee Co., Va. Born in 1819 in Russell Co., Va.682 Nancy died in Lee Co., Va. in 1911, she was 92.678,682 Buried in Morley Cemetery, Rose Hill, Va.682
