YADKINVILLE - Mrs. Fannie F. Jenkins, 68, of Dobson, Rt. 2, widow of Frank Jenkins, died at 12:15 a. m. yesterday at the Broughton Hospital at Morganton. She had been in declining health several years adn seriously ill for two days. She was born Jan 1, 1892, in Surry County to Bill and Liddie Hull Rachels. She spent her entire life there. She was married in 1910 to Mr. Jenkins who died July 21, 1935. Surviving are a son Milton Jenkins of Dobson, Rt. 2, a step-son, Will Jenkins of Boonville, three step daughters, Mrs. Minnie Poindexter, Mrs. Nora Wood and Mrs. Alice Bledsoe, all of Dobson, Rt. 2; and a grandchild. The funeral will be conducted today at 2 p.m. today at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church by the Rev. Willie Peele and the Rev. H. H. Bledsoe. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body was taken to the home of a son, Milton Jenkins of Dobson, Rt. 2 yesterday.

Rites Today for M. M. Jenkins - Funeral services for Minor Monroe Jenkins, 70, who passed away yesterday morning at 2 o'clock at the home of his daugher, Mrs. Joe Wood, 513 Argonne Boulevard, following an illness of eighteen months, will be held at the home this afternoon at 1 o'clock and at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church at 3 o'clock. Rev. J. F. Carter will conduct the services. Burial will be in the church graveyard. Mr. Jenkins was born at Crutchfield in Surry County, January 16, 1861. He resided there until nine years ago when he moved to Jonesville. He came to this city three years ago to make his home with his daughter. He was a member fo Union Cross Baptist Church, Surry County. Surviving are the widow, who was Miss Sarah McGee prior to marriage, two daughters Mrs. Joe Wood and Mrs. J. W. Wood, both of this city; five brothers, Wiliam, Frank, Dock, and Winfield Jenkins, all of Surry County, and Alfred Jenkins, of Mount Airy; ten grandchildren, and one great grandchild.

STANLEY (1037) (May 1848-1914), in Surry Co., NC.1530 Born on 2 Nov 1869 in Surry Co., NC. Sarah Ellen died in Forsyth Co., NC on 22 May 1941, she was 71. Buried in Mount Pleasant Bap. Ch. Cemetery.

Mrs. Jenkins Passes Away- Mrs. Sarah E. Jenkins, 513 Argonne Boulevard, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Joe Wood, at 7:30 o'clock this morning. She had been in declining health for two months and her condition had been considered serious three weeks. Mrs. Jenkins was born in Surry county, the daughter. of Lemuel and Nancy Stanly McGee. She had lived in Winston-Salem for the past 15 years. Her husband, Monroe Jenkins, died In 1931. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Joe Wood and Mrs. J. W. Wood;10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Nannie Hudson, of Alamance county; and two brothers, J. W. McGee, of Forsyth county, and J. T. McGee of Surry county. Funeral will be conducted Friday afternoon at 1 o'clock at the home of Mrs. Joe Wood and at 3 o'clock at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. In charge of the service here will be Rev. Walser Allen and Rev. A. C. Peeler. Rev. James Creed and Rev. T. S. Draughn will officiate at the church service. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Pallbearers include: J. D. Royal, S. L. Poindexter, C D Slater, H. C. Thomas, T. E. Wood, and Tommie Poindexter.
