STANLEY, GGG Granddaughter, daughter of Lemuel William STANLEY (1516) (4 Aug 1852-15 Mar 1938) & Sarah Elizabeth "Sally Bet" NORMAN (30 Jun 1857-17 Oct 1930), in Surry Co., NC.1534 Born in Oct 1880 in Surry Co., NC. Mary "Molly" J. died in Forsyth Co., NC on 25 Jun 1951, she was 70.

1951 Jun 26 - Forsyth Co., NC - Obituary from Winston-Salem Journal :
Mrs. Stanley, 71, of High Point Funeral services will be held Wednesday at Vogler's Chapel for Mrs. Mollie Jane Stanley, 71, of 1109 Anderson Street, High Point, who died in a local hospital yesterday morning.
Mrs. Stanley has been in ill health since last September. She had been critcally ill since Friday.
Born in Surry County near Dobson, she was the daughter of William and Betty Norman Stanley. She spend her early life in that county and had lived in High Point for some time.
She was a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Surry County.
Surviving are three sons, Romie Stanley of Winston Salem, Route 7, Charlie Stanley of Winston Salem and Howard Stanley of High Point; six daughters, Mrs. J. W. Weisner of Richmond, Va., Mrs. E. H. Poore, and Mrs. D. K. Clodfelter both of Winston Salem, Route 6, Miss Sally Stanley of High Point, Mrs. H. L. Culbreth of Winston Salem, Route 7, and Mrs. Marie Mitchell of Terrell, Texas; and four grandchildren."
