Mrs. F. S. Stanley Dies of Paralysis; Funeral Held Here - Mrs. Malinda Stanley, 74, widow of the late Frank S.[Robert Franklin] Stanley, passed away in Greensboro about 6 o'clock Saturday afternoon following an attack of paralysis. The remains were brought back here for burial and funeral services were held at Oak Grove church at Bannertown at 3 o'clock Sunday afternoon. Rev. Jack Goins of Jonesville, conducted the rites, followed by interment in the Oak Grove Cemetery. Mrs. Stanley was well known in this city and had a number of children and grandchildren living in Mount Airy and other parts of the county. She was born November 5, 1961, the daughter of Calvin and Polly McKinney[should be Messemore]Parks and was married to Frank S. [Robert Franklin] Stanley in 1882. Children who survive her Masten, H. R. ,Charles and Marvin Stanley all of Surry County and Cola Stanley a former resident of this city, as well as a number of grandchildren.
