The Confederate Mouse, Illustrated and
Written by Dean W. Brown
Mice have been with human for over ten thousand years. Imagine if they could relate to us
humans all the words, plans, and schemes that they have heard through our walls
or somewhere hiding close by; our history would certainly be different in many
respects.
The Confederate Mouse was such a mouse. He made friends with the Confederate
Soldiers and helped them win “The First Battle of Manassas” during
the Civil War. This fiction story
teaches its readers the value of friendship and loyalty through the deeds of The
Confederate Mouse and his family. The readers of this story will be

Grandma’s Stories, Cures, & Fixings from the
Blue Ridge, Illustrated
and Written by Dean W. Brown
Grandma’s
Stories, From The Blue Ridge is a collection of original stories that
my Grandma told me as a small child. Many of the stories she told are
“ghostly” because she knew she could hold our attention with such
stories. Some of the stories
Grandma actually experienced herself and others have been passed down from her
grandparents. A reader of any age
will find them interesting and original.
Grandma’s Cures and Fixings is a collection of many
mountain treatments that were used during Grandma’s time, early
1900’s. Some of them are
practical and some are almost dangerous, however a reader will get a laugh from
reading about the home cures for common illnesses. There are recipes that will make a
reader chuckle and some that are actually delicious. All the stories, cures and fixings will
bring back pleasant memories to the older readers who had similar experiences
growing up in a rural
The book is filled with original Appalachian art by the
author and a collection of photographs of mountain scenes which were taken in
the area where the stories were collected.
Cost of book: $24.00 plus $2.00 for the cost of shipping.
Please indicate if the book is to be autographed and the correct spelling of
the person receiving the copy.

Bible Genealogy - Adam to Jesus - This is a complete genealogy of the
Bible showing all the descendants of Adam. There is at least one Bible
reference for each person so that you can read about the person in context with
his/her place in the Bible stories. It includes additional information about
the leading figures in the Bible and an appendix of interesting, but little
known things in the Bible pertaining to genealogy. You might find some of these
things surprising. For example, did you know that of the five prominent women
named in Jesus' genealogy, three were not Jewish, one was a prostitute, one
tricked her father-in-law into sleeping with her (she later married him) and
one had an adulterous relationship with a King (surely you know who that one
was.).. There is also a complete name index.
Go to the web site at: Bible Genealogy - Adam to Jesus. There
you will find the online genealogy of the Bible, which is the basis for the
manuscript. You will also find complete ordering information.
The manuscript is offered as an electronic document in Acrobat PDF format. You
can view it on your computer screen, download it to your computer, or print it
out.
